Welcome!
My journey with nutrition began in early adulthood I was diagnosed with PMOS/PCOS and given two pieces of advice: lose weight, and come back if things don't improve.
No explanation of what PMOS/PCOS actually was doing inside my body. No guidance on how nutrition, movement, or lifestyle could make a real difference. No acknowledgement that the relationship I already had with food and my body was complicated and that telling me to "just lose weight" was making it worse. I found myself living a life full of restriction, rules, and frustration and poor relationship with food and my body.
I started looking for answers, and it took years of studying, researching, and working through my own health to understand what the evidence actually shows and what genuinely moves the needle.
That's the knowledge and the empathy I bring to every consultation.
I'm Dr Zoë Bell, a Registered Associate Nutritionist (Association for Nutrition) with a PhD in Public Health Nutrition and over a decade of experience in Women's Health research. I'm also a 200-hour qualified yoga teacher and long-time practitioner of mindfulness in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh.
My work lives at the intersection of rigorous science and real life. Because the evidence only helps you if you can actually apply it.

✔ Research-Led Practice
I spent over a decade in academic research in Women's Health; I know what the evidence says, where the gaps are, and how to apply it practically
✔ Lived Experience
I've navigated PCOS myself, I understand the emotional weight of the diagnosis, the frustration of conflicting advice, and the complexity of changing your relationship with food while managing symptoms.
✔ Holistic Approach
Nutrition is the core but other lifestyle factors have a direct and documented impact on PMOS//PCOS symptoms and fertility.
